My name is Trey Burgamy, and all Swinging Snoods calls are handcrafted by me, in my basement in Smyrna, GA.

I hunted turkeys off and on throughout high school but didn't really get hooked until right after college. Fast forward several years and I had a season where I could barely hear a turkey, much less see one.

I kept seeing pictures of dead turkeys with wingbone calls, so after that miserable season, I was willing to try anything and bought myself a wingbone call.

That first season using a wingbone was magical for me. It seemed like a turkey gobbled every time I yelped on that thing. Then I decided to try to make my own call from the first bird I harvested using a wingbone. That first call was a sight for sore eyes, but it worked and sounded like a turkey.

After a few years of trial and error, I was finally able to get a call looking and sounding good enough to leave my shop, and here we are.

(And somewhere along the way, I realized I would never have enough bones to stay busy until the next turkey season, so I bought a press and learned to make mouth calls too)
